With a market situation as volatile as now with global cues not so favourable for the investors, the price for 24-carat gold per 10 gram reached Rs 52,400 on Saturday in Bhubaneswar with an increase of Rs 300 from Friday’s price.

For 23-carat, the price of 10 grams of yellow metal is Rs 50,600 while the rate of 22-carat gold reached 49,500; Rs 300 rise from yesterday.

Similarly, the rate of 20, 18 and 14-carat gold remained at Rs 44,800, Rs 40,600 and Rs 32,200 respectively. All these varieties of yellow metal are being traded Rs 300 more today.

Pure Ginni (gold coin) is being traded at Rs 40,800.

On the other hand, one kilogram of silver is being sold at Rs 57,000 (With GST) in Bhubaneswar.

Meanwhile, gold is traded at Rs 5,230 per gram (GST 995) and Rs 5,170 (Cash 995) in Cuttack.

Notably, the price of gold and silver varies for different regions based on certain parameters such as the excise duty, making charges and state taxes.

In the international market, gold was trading higher at USD 1,711 per ounce while silver was flat at USD 18.80 per ounce.
