In addition to the warm hospitality extended to the delegates who participate in the G20 summit in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented them with a distinctive gift.This special token of appreciation was a selection of handcrafted items and products that exemplified India's abundant heritage and the exquisite artistry of its craftsmen.

According to sources, Prime Minister Modi along with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met the officials and praised them for the success of the multilateral event, which saw participation from around heads of state of 30 nations.

The post was reminiscent of his congratulatory comments and video on the new Parliament building at a time when the controversy over the Sengol and the Opposition's boycott of the inauguration was at its peak.

The G20 nations approved an 83-paragraph leaders consensus covering issues ranging from plastic pollution to terrorism.

Union Ministers also took to X and congratulated the Prime Minister for the success of the Summit.

The couple spent 45 minutes at the temple, offering prayers and learning about its architecture and history, according to the temple management.

In a media interaction after meeting his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi after the conclusion of the G20 summit, Trudeau, in reply to a question on whether the issue of Khalistani extremists came up during the meeting, said: "Over the years, with PM Modi, we have had many conversations on these issues.

As curtains came down on the G20 Summit, Modi also proposed a virtual session of the bloc around the end of November to take stock of the suggestions and decisions made at the leaders' summit.

He, however, added that a vast majority of G20 countries condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Addressing reporters after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the culmination of the G20 summit, he said: "We believe that any initiative that isolates Russia is bound to fail.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Sunak said: "Stronger together. Stronger united. Thank you Narendra Modi for a historic G20 and the Indian people for such a warm welcome. From global food security to international partnerships, it's been a busy but successful summit."

India had taken over the G20 presidency from Indonesia during the Bali Summit last year.
