The G20 nations approved an 83-paragraph leaders consensus covering issues ranging from plastic pollution to terrorism.

In a media interaction after meeting his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi after the conclusion of the G20 summit, Trudeau, in reply to a question on whether the issue of Khalistani extremists came up during the meeting, said: "Over the years, with PM Modi, we have had many conversations on these issues.

As curtains came down on the G20 Summit, Modi also proposed a virtual session of the bloc around the end of November to take stock of the suggestions and decisions made at the leaders' summit.

He, however, added that a vast majority of G20 countries condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Addressing reporters after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the culmination of the G20 summit, he said: "We believe that any initiative that isolates Russia is bound to fail.

India had taken over the G20 presidency from Indonesia during the Bali Summit last year.

In reference to the Ukraine conflict, it also has a line that "there were different views and assessments of the situation."

The G-20 summit in Delhi is a major step forward in providing solutions to the most pressing issues, the White House said on Saturday.

In the Delhi declaration, the G20 leaders said, "Technology can enable rapid transformations for bridging the existing digital divides and accelerate progress for inclusive and sustainable development."

The first-of-its-kind economic corridor will be a historic initiative on cooperation, connectivity and infrastructure involving India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, EU, France, Italy, Germany, and the US.

A total of 19 countries and 12 international organisations have so far agreed to join the alliance, including both G20 members and non-member countries.
