In a bid to facilitate COVID vaccination to the elderly and differently-abled persons, the Odisha government on Monday allowed the local administrations to plan Near To Home Covid Vaccination Centres (NHCVC) for the beneficiaries.

Citing a Central government order that made provisions of waiting area and observation room mandatory for vaccination, the Odisha government on Wednesday directed for discontinuation of the off-site services running at several cities with immediate effect.

In a welcome move, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) has started doorstep vaccination and testing service for Divyang and elderly persons of and above 70 years-old.
