Amidst the threat of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 in the state, the Odisha School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash on Saturday (Dec 25) informed that the Matric Summative Assessment exams would be conducted.
School and Mass Education Minister Samir Dash said some isolated cases of Covid infection are being reported from educational institutions in the State, tut it will not hamper the overall study atmosphere.
The state child rights body has requested the officials to ensure arrangement of Covid-19 testing kits facilities for all school & college children and also put in place pandemic safety protocols in the campuses of all educational institutions.
The revised Covid-19 guidelines will be strictly implemented in all schools of Odisha. And the ongoing offline classes will continue for students of Class 9, 10 and 12 as per the revised SOPs.
