The revised Covid-19 guidelines will be strictly implemented in all schools of Odisha. And the ongoing offline classes will continue for students of Class 9, 10 and 12 as per the revised SOPs.
This information was given by Odisha School & Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday (Sept 8). Even as the revised guidelines are for classes 9, 10 and 12, Dash informed that no decision has been taken yet regarding reopening rest of the classes in the state.
This comes a day after Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik released a revised set of Covid guidelines to be implemented in schools across the state. Following a review meeting, the CM instructed for formation of a special squad that will conduct surprise and random checking in schools.
The squad will check whether protocols are being strictly implemented in the school or not.
