More than 11 states and union territories have more than 50,000 active cases of COVID-19 while 13 states and union territories have active cases between 10,000 to 50,000.

A day after reporting the lowest cases since April 8, India saw a slight uptrend in Covid infections and deaths. As many as 1.32 lakh fresh cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. 3207 persons succumbed to the deadly infection, pushing the death toll to 3,35,102.
