Odisha witnessed a marginal drop in new positive cases as daily infections dropped to below 10,000 after five days.
The second wave of Covid-19 in Odisha is worsening with each passing day. As many as 21 persons infected with the virus succumbed on Friday, the highest in a day so far. The state also detected 11807 new Covid cases during the period, pushing the active caseload to beyond 90,000 in the state. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) is still at a high 23.21 per cent.
