In a letter to the Principals, Headmasters and Headmistresses of all affiliated Higher Secondary Schools, the CHSE has shared the schedule and guidelines for online form fill up for the eligible regular, ex-regular and correspondence course students (Arts, Commerce, Science and Vocational stream) for appearing in the Annual Higher Secondary Examinations 2022.

The Odisha Council Of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Saturday (Nov 20), declared the results of the much awaited Plus-2 offline exams in the state.

After having failed to take admission into various Plus 3 courses in universities across the state, as many as 13,043 students in Odisha are now staring at an uncertainty.

Government college students have raised concerns that private college students will score good marks and remain ahead in the race. Moreover, teachers' associations have also raised questions over transparency in allotting marks. 

With the uncertainty looming over annual board exams due to the pandemic, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in Odisha has made some major changes in the pattern of Plus 2 examination this year.

Plus-2 offline examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha commenced on Friday (October 1). The CHSE is conducting the offline exams for students who were dissatisfied with their scores awarded through the alternative assessment method.

CHSE has set a target to announce the result of the offline Plus 2 exam within 15 days after the exams are over on October 11.

A total of 13043 have reportedly applied for the offline exam. Earlier, CHSE had invited online applications for the Plus 2 offline exam from September 3.

As per the latest notification released by DHSE, guardians/parents of shortlisted candidates can also be present for admittance at the institutions in cases where the candidates failed to arrive at the spot.

Several Plus 2 drop out/ex-regular students in Bhubaneswar were detained and picked up by police on Monday (Sept 6) while they were protesting and headed to Naveen Niwas, which is the official residence of Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik.
