The counting is expected to be finished around 3 pm and the final result will be declared today
Top security arrangement has been made around the counting centre to avert any kind of law and order issue.
Party MPs have been assigned charge to tour their respective parliamentary constituencies and strengthen party's base in 100 weak booths.
The nominations will be scrutinised on May 12 and the candidates are allowed to withdraw their candidature by May 17, said Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Odisha, S.K. Lohani.
