Vigilance sleuths on Thursday (Nov 25), conducted raids at various places linked to an Assistant Engineer of the ITDA (Integrated Tribal Development Agency) at Baripada on charges of accumulating assets disproportionate to his income.
A man living in Baripada city’s Deulasahi locality received the shock of his life, when he spotted a venomous snake, called the ‘Russell’s viper’ lounging on his bed under the blanket. Later, the man immediately contacted the snake helpline members, who reached the spot and rescued the reptile.
