Cuttack DCP, Pinak Mishra informed that as the Bali Yatra is being organised in a grand manner, focus will be given on crowd and traffic management. Apart from this, special focus has been given to check criminal activities during the fair.
Cuttack Mayor Subhash Singh informed that there are plans to set up at least 18 such stalls at different parts of the Bali Yatra ground this year.
While preparations have reached final stages, the district administration is leaving no stone unturned to make the annual event a grand affair. The Cuttack Municipal Corporation is coming up with unique ideas to make this year’s Bali Yatra different from others.
The Cuttack district administration has began on-spot booking of non allotted plots for Bali Yatra to be held from November 8. The traders, who could not avail a plot to set up their shops during the annual trade fair, now can get a plot immediately by taking advantage of the on-spot booking facility.
