eSanjeevani service is available in two variants. The first one is eSanjeevani Ayushman Bharat-Health and Wellness Centre (AB-HWC) -- the Doctor-to-Doctor telemedicine service through which the beneficiaries visiting a HWC can virtually connect to doctors and specialists.
The application also allows self-uploading of physical health records in the ABDM compliant health lockers along with sharing of digital health records such as diagnostic reports, prescriptions, CoWIN vaccination certificate etc. after the consent of an individual through the ABDM network.
Currently there are over 800 participants integrated with ABDM's registries and enabling health data exchange through the Health Information Exchange & Consent Manager (HIE-CM).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission via video conferencing on September 27. Under the mission, every Indian will get a unique health ID that will also work as a health account to which personal health records can be linked.
Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is being implemented in a pilot phase in six union territories.
