Amid severe rise in air pollution levels in the national capital, the Delhi government has announced early winter break in schools.
On Sunday, the Delhi government had announced that the primary schools will remain closed till November 10 and the students of Class 6 to 12 were given the option of shifting to online mode.

Delhi’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) reached 346 on Thursday evening, according to data from the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR).
The AQI at Dhirpur with PM 2.5 was at 369, under "very poor" category.
