Tens of members of armed uprising groups attacked the Pol-e-Hesar district of northern Baghlan province in Afghanistan and cleared them of the Taliban.

The insurgents are now in control of all the districts of Kabul while a night curfew has been imposed in Kabul reportedly to prevent further violence. A Taliban spokesperson has said the war in Afghanistan is over, and a new power structure will soon be clear.

Two days after the Taliban captured Kabul, the insurgent group on Tuesday urged the Afghan government employees to return to work in an effort to bring back normalcy in the capital city.

Facebook announced that it has banned the Taliban and all content supporting the insurgents from its platforms as it considers the group to be a terrorist organisation.

The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations stated that another 67 children, who were being smuggled by human traffickers and migrants out of the country through the border areas between Iran and Afghanistan, were detained by Iranian border guards and handed over to Afghan security forces.

As the situation in Afghanistan intensifies, a total of 50 Indian nationals, including diplomats, left the Mazar-e-Sharif and reached New Delhi
