Karimnagar: Six peacocks were found dead in Gundaram village nearly 70 km from here on Sunday, officials said.

According to forest officials, six peacocks, including peahens, were found dead on the outskirts of the village under Yellareddypet police limits.

Forest officials from Sircilla division have sent the carcasses for post martem to ascertain the reason behind the death. About four days back, 11 peacocks were found dead in Nookalamarri village outskirts here.
