Balasore: Three persons remained missing when a mechanized fishing trawler sank near Talsari in the Bay of Bengal, about 30 km From Balaramgudi fishing jetty here, police said on Friday.

"A trawler carrying six fishermen from Balaramgudi sank in the sea in a stormy weather last night. While three persons were rescued, as many remain missing," police said.

Search was on to locate the missing persons.

Balaramgudi Trawlers Association Secretary, Gopal Chandra Das said they had intimated all the fishing community associations along the sea coast as well as administration to locate the missing persons.
