Bhubaneswar: Three children died after they drowned in a pond at Pratappasi village in Keonjhar.
The incident took place on Monday afternoon when the three children - Seema Bantkar (8), Muni Bantkar (5), Champa Bantkar (4) had gone for bathing at the pond in their village.
According to reports, the three children had gone for bathing in the pond, when they slipped into deeper waters and drowned.
Another child who had gone with them informed the parents about the incident. Following which they reached the spot and took the drowned children to a hospital in Champua, where the doctors declared the children dead.
