Bhubaneswar: A day after Rajya Sabha member and Odisha Jana Morcha (OJM) chairman Pyarimohan Mohapatra’s speech of aspiring to be the chief minister of Odisha, CM Naveen Patnaik on Saturday reacted to the parliamentarian’s ambition saying his aspiration is a distant dream.

“Well, the future will tell. But I think his dreams are extremely….very remote,” Patnaik said here after returning from his four-day New Delhi trip.

Reacting to another query of newsmen he said there is no challenge to BJD from OJM. "The party will go ahead and the people of Odisha will bless BJD on New Year," added Naveen.

Notably, the sacked OJM chief on Friday at a public meeting in Baripada had said that he had no objection if people of Odisha want to see him as chief minister.

Addressing the gathering at Chhau ground in Baripada, his third Kranti Samabesh after Bhubaneswar and Bhawanipatna, Pyari said that OJM would take the control of BJD within three months. Otherwise, he would convert is outfit, Odisha Jana Morcha, into a full fledge political party.
