Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Chapter of INTACH has honoured several of its distinguished members, including eminent writer and Jnanpith award winner Pratibha Ray, with INTACH Gaurav awards.

Apart from Ray, others honoured by the Chapter include noted sculptor Sudarshan Sahoo, noted archaeologists Gopal Mitra and Bijay Kumar Rath, renowned artist Dinanath Pathy, distinguished Odissi danseuse Priyambada Hejmadi.

The Pride of INTACH (Gaurav) awards were given on the occasion of Odia new year celebrations on April 14, the INTACH Chapter said in a release here on Tuesday.

State Convenor of INTACH A B Tripathy gave an account of achievement of INTACH in Odisha including the opening of the Maritime Museum at Cuttack a few weeks back, and the Photo exhibition in Delhi on temples of Odisha with photographs by ace photographer PC Dhir who has been a member of this chapter for the past 25 years and more.
