Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) - 2013 for admission into Engineering, MBA, MCA and various other undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses in the state, will be held on May 12, according to an OJEE official.

The date was announced here on Saturday by the policy planning board, the body to decide in admission matters in technical institutions.

According to sources details of application procedures and examination pattern will be notified soon.

Notably, this is the first time when OJEE will not conduct the medical entrance test and the medical seats of the state will be filled up through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2013, for which the state government agreed recently.


However, the board is yet to decide on the counselling process of the qualifying students this year which got delayed last year due to the lack of clarity of seat availability in various streams.
