Cuttack: Hosts Odisha Ranji squad faced the daunting task of avoiding follow on in its elite division match against Saurashtra on the second day of the 4-day match at Barabati stadium here. Team India all-rounder Ravinder Jadeja, not out on previous evening, went on to score a scintillating triple century before he was finally out for 314 runs. Assisted by Jadeja`s feat, Saurashtra put up a mammoth total of 545 runs. For the hosts, Basanta Mohanty bagged three wickets while Jayanta Behera chipped in with two. At the draw of stumps today, Odisha were 51 for no loss. The two openers Bikash Pati and Natraj Behera were batting respectively on 34 runs and 17 runs.
