Konark Sun Temple Visiting Hours Tweaked

Puri: The visiting hours for tourists at the Konark Sun Temple have been revised keeping in view of the onset of winter in Odisha.

As per reports, the visiting hours for tourists into the temple have been cut short by one hour after the announcement of new timing which is from 6 AM to 6 PM. Earlier, tourists were allowed entry into the 13th-century monument between 6 AM and 7 PM.

After closure of the monument, tourists can, however, savour light and sound show at the temple, the timing of which has been revised by half-an-hour from 7 PM to 6.30 PM.

The new timings will be in effect till 28^th February 2020.
