Bhubaneswar: We all know how big a music enthusiast Sachin Tendulkar has been all through his career, when he used to play loud music in the dressing room for his teammates to enjoy. When Chelsi Behura of Cuttack wowed judges Anu Malik, Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar with her rendition of ‘Main Pareshan’ from Ishaqzaade during the audition round of Indian Idol 11, little did she know that she would make it to the top-15 and will garner praises from the 'God of Cricket'.

We are barely three weeks into the 11th edition of the mega singing reality show on Sony TV and the contestants and their life-stories have already touched so many of the viewers, including the master blaster.

After her scintillating performance, Chelsi received a golden ticket and a mike to enter the list of top 15. "Touched by the soulful singing" Sachin took to Twitter and wrote: "Rahul, Chelsi, Diwas and Sunny come from different parts of the country but have the same passion & dedication for music despite all odds. I’m sure they’ll go a long way."

Elated over Sachin's tweet, here's what Vishal Dadlani wrote:

A resident of Nandikul Sahi from Sikharpur area in Cuttack town, the 16-year-old had gone up to high levels of reality show The Rising Star and also created ripples in Indian Idol Junior when she was barely 11.

While Chelsi has been consistently gaining applauds from all over the country, we hope she emerges as the winner of Indian Idol 11 and brings laurels to the State.
