1 killed, 3 injured in group clash in Bhadrak

Bhadrak: Tension ran high in Gohirani village under RN Betada panchayat in the district today when one person was killed and three other injured during a group clash over construction work of a government project in the village. The deceased has been identified as Lokanath Sethi.

As per reports,  initially an altercation ensued on  work order of the government project between two groups. Later the argument took an ugly turn and the group attacked each other with swords and other sharp weapons.

Following the group clash, the four injured were rushed to the district headquarters hospital (DHH), where Sethi succumbed to injuries. Sources said the three other injured are undergoing treatment at the hospital and their condition is stated to be critical.

Meanwhile, police reached the spot after receiving information and began probe into the incident.
