Paradip: The residents of village Kothiasahi near Kujang in Jagatsinghpur district have urged the chief minister Naveen Pattanaik to stop his partymen, especially the three MLAs to stop playing politics over the body of two persons including a ten-year-old boy who succumbed to burn injuries in the cracker explosion about a week ago.

A pall of gloom reigns over village Kothasahi following the tragic death of two persons. Both the victims Pituna Patra and Fakir Patra had died in the SCB medical college and hospital in Cuttack. Bhramara Patra, father of Pituna Patra has become almost speechless and sobs inconsolably just at the mention of the incident. Fakir`s father too has become bed ridden after the incident. The family members of Pituna and Fakir know nothing about their future without their dear ones. The two families earn pittances, though, from bursting crackers marriages and other functions.

The villagers of Kothasahi are definitely not enjoying the politics being played by the three MLAs, Damodar Rout, Debashis Samantray and Bishnu Dash, all from BJD, over the dead body of the two persons. The villagers have requested chief minister Naveen Pattanaik to ask his three MLAs to desist from dirty poitics.Though the trade union headed by Debashis Samantrya has donated some money to the bereaved families, the dalit samaj has threatened to launch agitation against the three politicians unless they abstain from indulging in politics over dead the dead persons.
