Bhubaneswar: The Supreme Court on Friday rejected the compensation claim made by Subhashree Panda alias Mili Panda, wife of maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda for her alleged arrest and detention by the Cuttack-Bhubaneswar Commissionerate police in 2010.

Mili in a special leave petition (SLP), had appealed the apex court that the state government must provide adequate compensation to her for the arrest and detention.

Earlier on March 23, 2012 the apex court had sought clarifications from Odisha government about the arrest of Mili and the compensation claim.
