Bhubaneswar: Police are leaving no stone unturned to make full-proof security arrangements for BJP’s prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Sambalpur on March 14.

DIG (Northern Division) Sanjay Kumar today visited the venue for the rally at Ainthapalli along with a senior rank police official of Gujarat and took stock of the security measures being put in place.

On the other hand, the Odisha unit of the saffron party is also making all-out efforts for the success of the rally expecting that it would brighten the BJP’s prospects in western parts of the State.

Over two lakh BJP supporters are likely to attend the public meeting, which would be Modi’s second visit to the State within the last one month.

He had last addressed a rally in Bhubaneswar on February 11.
