Sarathi’s Hyderabad tour: Travel agent interrogated

Bhubaneswar: Even as Sarathi Baba reportedly admitted to have visited Hyderabad in July, the Crime Branch today interrogated proprietor of a travel agency firm to collect more information on this.

CB sources said, proprietor of Sonthalia Online Services Deepak Agarwal admitted that air tickets to Hyderabad were booked on June 5 in the name of Sarathi Baba and a woman companion.

While the date of journey was July 5, both the travellers were scheduled to return Bhubaneswar on July 12. But later the return tickets were cancelled, Agarwal reportedly claimed.

Initially, though Baba denied to the charges that he visited Hyderabad in July, the audio tape released by Baba’s woman companion claimed that she had gone with the controversial godman to the IT city in the same month.

The CB is now in the process of getting tour and expense details of Baba.

Meanwhile the agency sleuths have seized a laptop form Baba’s possession which sources said could provide information about more financial transactions off Baba and his Trust.
