Railway cancels, diverts several trains connecting Puri, Cuttack, Howrah, Secunderabad; check list
The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced temporary changes in train operations due to safety-related modernisation work between Jajpur Keonjhar Road and Bhadrak section.
The regulations will remain in force from September 16 to 22.
Train Cancellations
Puri–Jaleswar–Puri MEMU (68442/68441): Cancelled on September 16, 19, 20 and 22 (Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday).
Short-Termination / Short-Originations
Bhadrak MEMU (68424): To be short-terminated at Jajpur Keonjhar Road on September 17 and 21 (Tuesday and Saturday).
Bhadrak – Cuttack MEMU (68423): Will originate from Jajpur Keonjhar Road instead of Bhadrak on the same days.
Cuttack – Bhadrak MEMU (68438): To be short-terminated at Jajpur Keonjhar Road on September 19 and 22 (Thursday and Sunday).
Bhadrak – Cuttack MEMU (68437): Will start from Jajpur Keonjhar Road on the above dates.
Rescheduled Trains
Howrah–Secunderabad Falaknuma Express (12703): Rescheduled by 1 hour 30 minutes on September 17 and 21 (Tuesday and Saturday).
Chennai–Howrah Express (12840): Rescheduled by 2 hours on September 18 and 21 (Wednesday and Saturday).
Puri–Jaynagar Express (18419): Rescheduled by 1 hour on September 19 (Thursday).
