Monoact on female foeticide staged

Bhubaneswar: With an aim to spread awareness against female foeticide in society, a monoact ‘Ajanma’ was staged at Rabindra Mandap here yesterday.

Noted actor Papu Pom Pom presented through mono-acting how foetuses are destroyed in a mother’s womb. Ajit Das directed the monoact which was enacted at the annual function of Ajit Natya Sanstha.

State Health minister Atanu Sabyaschi Naik and OTV director Jagi Mangat Panda, who were chief guests at the function, called for creating awareness on the menace in the society.
