Cuttack/Bhubaneswar: Two special teams of commissionerate police will leave for Delhi and Jharkhand today to investigate al Quaeda operative Abdur Rehman's fiscal transaction and foreign link.

“A team will visit special cell of Delhi police which is interrogating Abdur Rehman and another team will leave for Jharkhand to investigate about the managment of the madrasa: Police commissioner RP Shamra said.

After freezing three bank accounts (two Canara bank A/Cs and one SBI) of the suspected terrorist, the police is trying to figure out the root of the money trail.

The teams will inquire about the motive of such a huge money transaction. One team will question Rehman in Delhi while another team will collect information about the management of Madrasa run by the suspected terrorist.

Meanwhile, all students of the Islamic seminary near Tangi vacated the institution in presence of administration and police officials on Saturday. Similarly, two teachers of the institute were interrogated by police at Jagatpur police station about the muslim seminary.

On the other hand, the security of the Aviation Research Centre at Charbatia near Choudwar has been tightened after the arrest of Rehman. Police also intensified the patrolling and inspection drive in the nearby areas.
