Following the incident, there was a heated argument between the students in the hostel.

“A scuffle broke out between the fourth year and second year student at a dhaba. Later, there was an argument between them in the hostel. After a probe, we found that the fourth year student had slapped the second year student,” said Professor B. Tudu, Chairman of VIMSAR’s Anti-Ragging Cell.
