Music & trailer launch of Odia film ‘Charidham’ in Bhubaneswar today; free entry for public

The much-awaited music launch of Odia film ‘Charidham: A Journey Within’ will take place at the Rail Auditorium in Chandrasekharpur of Bhubaneswar this evening, with the organisers announcing free entry for all.

According to the organisers, the event, scheduled to begin at 5pm, will showcase live performances by the singers, musicians, and artists associated with the film.

Superstar Anubhav Mohanty, who plays the male lead, is also set to join the stage, adding star power to the evening’s programme. Producers said this will be the first time that the film’s audio release is being held in a public auditorium format, creating a larger platform for audiences to connect with the music before the movie hits theatres.

Live Performances And Trailer Launch

According to the organisers, the programme will include both the official audio release and the trailer launch of Charidham. The audience will be treated to live renditions of the film’s songs by the original singers and musicians. With entry open to all and no tickets required, the event is expected to draw a sizeable crowd of music and cinema enthusiasts.

The team behind the film said the show has been designed as a celebratory evening, combining music, performance, and interaction between the artists and the public.

Charidham: A Journey Within is produced by Himadri Tanaya Das and directed by Tapas Sargharia. The film stars Anubhav Mohanty alongside Mamata Tripathy, Sukant Rath, and Ashish Kumar Das in pivotal roles.

The makers said the story explores themes of personal discovery and relationships, set against the backdrop of contemporary Odia society. The film is slated for a theatrical release on September 25, 2025, and the audio-trailer launch is expected to give audiences their first look at its music and narrative.
