Bhubaneswar: Amid the backdrop of Odisha slipping on the industrial map and failing to attract investments, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will attend Investors' Meet at Mumbai on August 8.

The tour will be a prelude to the upcoming Make in Odisha conclave scheduled to be held in November 2018.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will hold discussions with investors during the mega event at Mumbai.

A road show will also be organised to focus on five sectors, sources said.

Industries secretary Sanjeev Chopra said: "A road show will be organised and CM will meet prospective and existing investors at Mumbai. All efforts are being made to provide the right kind of environment to the industrial houses."

Chopra further stated that the Making Odisha Conclave will be organised in a bigger way than it was organised in 2016.
