Bhubaneswar: Within 24 hours of death of a swine flu patient in the State capital, another person in the city, this time a doctor, tested positive for the H1N1 virus yesterday.

With this new case, total number of persons affected with the virus reached five.

The swab test of the doctor, who works at a private hospital in Dumduma, at Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) showed positive for H1N1 virus.

Sources said the doctor had visited Mumbai six days back. Public Health director Kailash Das said the patient is in good condition and at home under medical supervision.

A 42-year-old resident of Khurda died of the influenza at SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, on Sunday.
