New Delhi: The NITI Aayog has shortlisted five States including Odisha to provide institutional support under the Sustainable Action for Transforming Human Capital (SATH) in education sector.

The other four chosen states are Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh.

The Aayog will select three States out of the five in the final stage and the process will be over by July.

Under the SATH programme, the NITI Aayog will provide strategic, technical and implementation support to three states for the sector.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, Karnataka and Gujarat have been shortlisted by the NITI Aayog to get support to initiate reforms in health sector.
