Cuttack: A success rate of 82.56% was registered in the High School Certificate (HSC) or the Matriculation examination, the result of which was announced by the School and Mass Education minister today.

As many as 4,51,959 students have passed the annual examination with 1,473 securing A1 grade and 16,021 securing A2 grade. Similarly, 46,688 students have secured B-1, 83,094 students B2, 1,10,337 students C, 1,21,292 students D and 72,954 students secured E grade. District-wise, Balasore recorded the highest pass percentage of 91.58.

The examination result will be made available on seven websites along with the BSE’s official website www.bseodisha.nic.in from 2pm onwards. These websites are www.prestigeresults.in, www.knowyourresult.com, www.indiaresults.com, www.exametc.com, www.bharatstudent.com, www.jagranjosh.com and www.orissaresults.nic.in. Candidates need to log on to any one of the website to access their result. Candidates have been advised to fill in details like roll no to know their result.

Besides, the candidates were also provided the facility to get their results through mobile messaging services. To facilitate candidates about the results, the board has also opened helpline numbers. These are: 0671- 2412049, 2412060 and 18003456722.

According to sources, in case of any discrepancy in the marks scored, candidates can apply online by May 12 for re-evaluation. Students can collect their certificates and marksheets from respective schools on May 15. The HSC examination was held between February 23 and March 9.
