Irate villagers lock main gate of Bhushan Steel plant

Dhenkanal: Protesting against the non-fulfillment of their demands, hundreds of irate people of Talabahali village today locked the main gate of Bhushan Steel Ltd this morning.

Reports said the company had assured the villagers of drinking water provision in their village and construction of a bridge on Kisinda nullah.

Protesting against the company's failure to fulfill its assurances despite repeated reminders, the people of the village, including women, went to the plant in the morning and locked its main gate.
