ECs hold poll review meeting with political parties

Bhubaneswar: Election Commissioners HS Brahma and Dr Syed Nasim Ahmad Zaidi arrived in Odisha on Wednesday and held a meeting with representatives of political parties at the office of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) here.

In the meeting, the ECs emphasised on free and fair polls in the state and sought co-operation of all stakeholders. Besides, the ECs requested the immediate transfer of three district magistrates, setting up single window clearance for meetings, rallies and road show.

Among others three other senior officials of ECI, Deputy Election Commissioner Alok Shukla and two director generals were also present in the meeting.
