Bhubaneswar: An authentic Odia food festival- 'Ama Odia Bhoji' which featured a wide range of delicacies from Odisha was organised in Koramangala area of Bengaluru on Sunday.

From 'Mudhi Mansha' to 'Maccha Besara', Odia chefs Smruti Surajita Mohanty, Tapti Patnaik and Sai Priya left no stone unturned to impress residents of Bengaluru by preparing a variety of dishes.

The festival which introduced the delicacies to Bengalureans was curated by the city- based foodies, Anupam Behera, Priya Nanda, Ankit Mohanty, Biswajit Mohapatra and Vaibhav Dewan.

Food items like Mutton Mudhi, Chinguri Ghanta, Macha Besara, Pakhal Bhata, Kanji, Mutton Aloo Kasa and Dalma with Pitha were offered during the fest.  Apart from that, street food items like Dahi Bara-Aloo Dum, Ghuguni-Bara and Gupchup (Pani-Puri) were also served.

According to an ANI report, to promote traditional food culture of Odisha, it was the first-ever Odia community food festival where the food was cooked by people from Odisha residing in Bengaluru.
