In a unique and unconventional protest, a woman from Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, performed aarti of a police officer to express her frustration with the local police’s inaction. Fed up with no action despite repeated requests, the woman and her family took a unique approach.

Accompanied by her husband and little daughter, the woman performed aarti of the officer-in-charge and even garlanded him a flower garland. The unique protest was caught on camera and quickly spread across social media platforms after it was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

As per reports, the woman’s unconventional gesture was prompted by the police’s alleged delay in registering an AIR, despite her and her family waiting for justice for 26 days. Since being shared on social media, the woman is being hailed for her ‘queen behaviour’ and non-violent protest.

“Ye sahi hai. Aise mein police wala violent bhi nahi bann sakta varna fizul mein fass jaayega. Old problems need modern solution!” commented a user.

Another user wrote, “He deserved it... the look on his face says it all.”

A third user wrote, “Good this how this people must be treated,” while another commented, “It's the only legal way we can press the entire #PoliceState of our PROUD #democracy,  Bureaucracy is the rotten part of society #NameShame #Gandhigiri #Police #IASOfficer #IPS”

The woman’s unique approach was to remind the police officers of their duty to ensure public safety and take appropriate action when necessary. The specific details of the case mentioned by the woman and the contents of their FIR have not yet been verified.
