Hindustani 2 trailer: Kamal Haasan is on fire as Senapathy, Siddharth leaves an impact

Amid the craze and bookings for Kalki 2898 AD the actor-director duo of Kamal Haasan and Shankar today dropped the trailer of their upcoming movie Hindustani 2. When it comes to Kamal Haasan you can always expect a firebrand performance and the trailer once again proves that. Hindustani 2 is the sequel to the superhit movie Hindustani released in 1996.

Kamal was in a double role in the first movie playing both Senapathy and the romantic hero whereas in the second installment, the Tamil superstar returns as Senapathy but is replaced by Siddharth as the young hero who is tired of fighting the evil of the society and bending his moralities.

The trailer starts with the public stressed about corruption and violence. The entire focus is on unemployment and skilled people getting underpaid. Everyone is hoping that somebody will come and change the pathetic situation. Rich people are getting richer while the poor are becoming poorer.

But no one is ready to take up the responsibility. The dialogue “We are just barking dogs, we need hunting dogs” sums up the message of Hindustani 2. And then it is all about how Kamal Haasan as Senapathy returns to the real world and fights the evil in society in his most unique way, similar to what he did in Hindustani earlier.

Shankar is known for awesome visuals, scintillating action sequences, soul-stirring situations, and drama. Fans will get to see all that in this sequel which seems to be on the right track. Apart from Kamal Haasan and Siddharth the movie also stars Kajal Aggarwal, SJ Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh , and Priya Bhavani Shankar.

Since it is a movie directed by Shankar all these actors are expected to have well-defined roles and each one is expected to bring more dynamism to the movie.
