Lion spotted munching leaves, video triggers hilarious comments from netizens; watch

Lions and tigers are known to be the most violent and ferocious carnivore creatures on land. These big cats hunt down their prey and tear them apart to feed their empty stomach. This is a natural process of the food chain where the top predators prey on tertiary consumers and secondary consumers.
 
However, it would leave anyone in shock if someone says that lions and tigers eat leaves or grasses. Well, though there are several such incidents.

One such video has recently surfaced on social media that shows a lion munching leaves from a tree. 

The video shows a lion stretching out its paws to a tree branch to bring it down. The big cat uses its jaws to pluck leaves from the tree. It continues to pluck leaves and munch those for a while.

It is quite common to spot dogs and cats like omnivores chewing grass or leaves. Well, this is a natural phenomenon and there is nothing surprising as these animals eat leaves or grasses for it helps them to cough out small bones and fur balls out of their system as well as facilitate digestion and relieve abdominal discomfort. 

However, the video has triggered hilarious comments from netizens.

One user wrote, “I thought they do it as Sravan Maas is on going.” (sic)

A second user wrote, “May be due to bad breath trying Mouth fresh.. mukhwas.” (sic)

“Sher kabhi ghas nei khata he.....ye to galat ho geya sir..” wrote a third user. (sic)
