The Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), S. Somanath, has been in the spotlight recently due to two major achievements.

One is the successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon, and the other one is the Aditya L1 sun study mission.

In a heartwarming gesture, a young boy recently presented Somanath with a special gift to congratulate him and the team of scientists for the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon's South Pole.

This thoughtful youngster crafted a model of the Vikram Lander and handed it over to the ISRO Chief on behalf of the entire neighbourhood.

Sharing this touching moment, ISRO scientist PV Venkitakrishnan posted a picture on the X platform and wrote, "ISRO Chief Sri Somanath had a surprise visitor today. A young neighbour boy has given his homemade Vikram Lander model to the ISRO chief, representing all the neighbours."

The picture quickly went viral on the internet, and it received a lot of love and appreciation from users.

Many commented on how ISRO's achievements are inspiring and motivating young minds to pursue a career in science.

Some users praised the caring neighbours, while others applauded the effort of the young boy who made the model.

One user even noted, "Born with talent 👍👏," and another emphasised, "ISRO is a big motivator for the upcoming generation.”
