It's weddings season and we bet your social media feeds must be full of viral cute and colourful videos of wedding functions.  You must have also come across videos on the internet in which friends of brides or grooms create trouble for their friend’s partner.

However, sometimes these fun pranks turn into disasters. One such video is currently going viral on the internet.

In the viral video, the groom and bride can be seen performing the ‘Jaimala’ ritual. The groom dressed in a cream-colour sherwani with a red turban was seen garlanding the bride. However, he did not have any idea that his friends had planned a prank for him at the most opportune moment.

The groom can be seen making adjustments to his bride’s garland when a loud explosion fills the air, and the groom can be seen shocked and panicking on the stage. It seems the groom got confused with the sound of a firecracker and thought it was a gunshot, while the wedding guests and family members are seen having a laugh.

Later in the video, the groom could be seen in rage after the prank and giving an earful to his friends for pranking him.

The video was shared by an Instagram account called _naughtyfamily and has got 8.6 million views, till the filling of this copy.

The hilarity of the prank has left even the internet in splits.

One user said, " Bechare ka popat ho gya." Another jokingly wrote, " Dulha dar gaya dulha dar gaya." A third user opined, " Kuch bhi kaho dulha cute to hai."
