In recent years, the Delhi Metro has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. From bizarre reels to couples showcasing public display of affection (PDA), the public transport service has witnessed a concerning trend.

Meanwhile, a video of women physically assaulting each other, punching and pulling each other’s hair has gone to another level. The incident that began with a heated verbal exchange soon turned into physical altercations involving slapping, kicking and shoving.

The viral video shows two women initially engaged in confrontation and it quickly escalates into physical violence. At one point, one of the women accuses the other of being intoxicated. It is unclear how the argument started, but the women can be seen beating each other up following an argument.

An X user shared the video and wrote, “Will Delhi, known for being ‘Dilwale’ ever improve? There was a fight between women again in the same famous place, Delhi Metro...!! There was slapping and pulling each other's hair, a fight broke out between the two women after an argument...!”

In response, many other social media users highlighted how Delhi was turning into a place of violence and more and more fights were breaking out in an otherwise calm Delhi.

“Delhi metro has acquired the mannerisms of Delhi people. Mara Mari and Gali Galoch! 🤣🤣🤣,” commented a user.
Another user shared, “Someone please turn off the AC in the metro. Then see how many fights happen. Delhi is now full of uncouth people.”
“Women empowerment...#narishakti in full display.Dangerous times ahead...,” commented another user.
