Scorching heat has emerged as a significant concern for all and excessive rise in temperature affects normal life in numerous ways. Though public transport like trains have modernised these days and people opt to reserve tickets in AC Coaches while travelling during summer days, what about the passengers travelling in General or  Sleeper coaches, without an AC? Mostly, these coaches get crowded and normal fans installed in the coaches offer no help to beat the heat.

Recently, a video surfaced on the internet that shows 'special arrangements' made at a platform for train passengers to help them beat the heat and get some relief from the sweltering summer.

The video shows a railway platform where water is forcefully coming out of a broken drinking water tap. While several passengers can be seen standing, the train arrives on the platform.

The water directly sprays on the passengers sitting inside the coaches through the open windows making them wet. Well, the onboard passengers must have been surprised with the 'special arrangement' made at the platform to beat the heat.

Though it was not intentional, netizens have raised questions over the negligence of the railway staff and their concern to address the issue.

While the source of the video couldn't be obtained, it is shared on X by Santosh Kumar with a caption reading, "गर्मी को देखते हुए रेलवे ने यात्रियों के लिए नई ब्यवस्था चालू की है (In view of the heat, Railways has started a new arrangement for passengers). (sic)

The old video has gone viral on social media and amassed over 779K views and 3.8K likes. While inconveniences faced by the train passengers and water wastage is a major concern, netizens seem to have enjoyed the 'special arrangement' a lot.

One user wrote, "फिलहाल मैं यही चाहता हूं कि यह सुविधा रेलवे को बंद नहीं करना चाहिए (At present I want that this facility should not be closed by the Railways). (sic)

Another wrote, "इंतजाम अच्छा है (The arrangement is good). (sic)

"रेल मंत्री का बहुत बहुत आभार (Many thanks to the Railway Minister), wrote a third user. (sic)
