Baby octopus’ trading skill will leave you amazed! Watch underwater ‘secret deal’

The ocean buries several secrets of our world that still remains beyond the imagination of humans. Here we bring a video that shows a baby octopus trading underwater. The trading skills of the small creature will leave you surprised while amusing you.

In the video, a baby octopus can be seen holding onto a seashell and a plastic cup. Meanwhile, a diver is seen approaching close to it and trying to interact with the small creature. Later, the diver offers a seashell to the octopus as the plastic cup is not safe for the octopus. One after another, the diver offers four seashells to the octopus. But, every time it rejected the shells after touching those with its appendages.

However, at last, the octopus gets convinced by the last seashell offered by the diver and shifts to the new one from the old. The octopus examines the new seashell and after getting confirmed, it starts crawling while taking away the shell. As it stopped midway, the diver helped to cover the octopus with the old seashell.

Octopuses are very much flexible and can practically get inside anything. However, they need to safeguard themselves from other big predators. The baby octopus covered itself with the seashell as a protective measure. The ‘trading skill’ of the octopus was to confirm a safe and secure guard against exterior threats.
