Vajpayee was weakest Premier: Cong

"It is Vajpayee who was the weakest PM and Advani the most incompetent Home Minister as maximum terror attacks and the shameful Kandahar episode took place when the NDA was in power," AICC Secretary Praveen Davar said.

Addressing a public meeting at Reasi, some 150-km from here, Davar, in-charge of party`s affairs in J and K, accused the BJP of doublespeak on the issue of corruption.

The Congress had taken swift action by removing a Union Minister, a Chief Minister and initiating action against those alleged to be involved in various controversies, he said.

But, the BJP did not remove its Karnataka Chief Minister Y S Yedurappa against whom "there are proven charges of land grabbing and other irregularities", Davar said.
