The song ‘Abundance in Millets’ featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been nominated for the 2024 Grammy Awards. Created by Indian-American Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Falu (Falguni Shah), the song has bagged a nomination in the Best Global Music Performance category.
The popular song was created during the celebration of ‘International Year of the Millets’. It highlights the health benefits of Millets and the Modi government’s efforts to promote it. The song is currently streaming across all leading online platforms.
The Modi government has been promoting Millet as a nutritious cereal, highlighting how it can help alleviate poverty. The cereal was also made part of the menu of PM Modi’s State Dinner when he visited the US. Similarly, world leaders had the taste of the delicious food items made of Millets during the G20 Meet.

Speaking to PTI, Falu said, “PM Modi had written the song with me along with my husband Gaurav Shah.”
She took to her X handle and wrote, “The video for our single ‘Abundance in Millets’ is out now, a song written and performed with honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help farmers grow Millets and help end world hunger. UN declared this year as The International Year of Millets!”
